How to Properly Size Your Picnic Table to Fit Your Outdoor Space
Are you in the market for a new picnic table? Here are some tips on how to properly size your picnic table to fit your outdoor space.
Measure your space
It's important to measure the area you have available in your garden. Ensure you keep plenty of room around at least 3 edges of the picnic table for people to walk around comfortably. Ideally, you'd also have space to stand nearby - think of it as a space for entertaining or cooking.
Once you have measured your outdoor space, consider also where your table is in relation to the house - how easy is it to get items out to your table for a dinner outside?
Choose the shape
Once you have the space in order, it's time to choose the shape of your picnic table. If you have a small space, then one of our compact a-frame tables (such as the 1500mm Lancelot) might be the best option.
For larger spaces, where you can not only accommodate a larger table, but also the necessary space around the table for manoeuvring and entertaining, try our excalibur range!
